Storm Repair: House Renovation & Lift

House Renovation & Lift: Long Beach
Featured in Newsday

Following Hurricane Sandy, many homes were substantially damaged in the town of Long Beach, New York.  Any home that was assessed at having more than 50% damage due to the storm is required to either demolish the home and rebuild or lift the structure.  Gaby Tchilinguirian RA, NY Architect was commisioned to renovate and lift the house below located in Long Beach New York.  In the one year anniversary segment of the Long Island Newpaper, Newsday, this house was featured in the Sunday edition, 1 year Post Hurricane Sandy as an example of how the community is rebuilding.  Gaby Tchilinguirian has been helping homeowners, and citizens thourhgout the south shore rebuild after the storm and feels lucky to be a part of rebuilding New York and Long Island.
